Two people injured during the celebration of the Mambas' triumph at the Zimpeto National Stadium

On Saturday afternoon, as reported by the newspaper O País, two people were injured while celebrating the Mambas' triumph at the Estádio do Nacional do Zimpeto. The severity of the injuries ranged from mild to severe.

During the exuberant festivities, the Zimpeto Stadium was drenched in red, the Mambas' signature color. As a result of the revelry, there were reports of individuals falling. Jornal O País received confirmation of these events from Marília Rodolfo, a doctor on duty at the Emergency Department at Maputo Central Hospital.

During the event, two injuries occurred that required medical attention. A patient fell from the stands and suffered a thigh injury. Thanks to the prompt response of local emergency personnel, the patient was quickly stabilized and released at the scene. Another patient was also injured after falling from the stands and suffering an ankle injury. This patient was treated at the emergency bench and is currently undergoing treatment in the orthopedics sector.

According to our source, the patient who suffered serious injuries is currently receiving medical care and is no longer in danger.

The patient is currently in stable condition and is being closely monitored. It is difficult to determine the exact time of his discharge as he is still receiving medical care. However, it is good news that your condition is improving and everything is progressing as planned.

According to PRM in the city of Maputo, there were reports of fan unrest during a recent event. This unrest led to the destruction of one of the gates of the Zimpeto Nacional Stadium, as well as the arrest of several individuals who were allegedly selling counterfeit tickets. Despite these incidents, PRM claims that the celebration generally remained orderly.
