The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, inaugurated yesterday, in the district of Bilene, in Gaza, the upgraded road that connects Macia-Chókwè-Macarretane, in the province of Gaza.
The road is seen as being of vital importance for increasing commercial exchange, as well as boosting tourism and generating income for thousands of families.
After carrying out the inauguration, Filipe Nyusi traveled around three kilometers passing through the Zimbene toll gate.
The President of the Republic then spoke to the population of Gaza in the town of Chiaquelane, administrative post of Lionde, Chókwè district, highlighting the importance of that road.
Later today, Nyusi will inaugurate the water supply system in Malehice, in the district of Chibuto.
After these acts, Nyusi will head to Niassa from Filipe Jacinto Nyusi International Airport, which is located in the Chongoene district.
