Antônio Alves da Fonseca, the founder of Golo, the largest and most successful communications agency in Mozambique, died yesterday (12). He leaves a legacy of great appreciation, from awards and various works linked to communication at national and international level.
Fonseca was 94 years old.
Born in Mozambique, on August 15, 1929, Fonseca joined the then Rádio Clube de Moçambique, at the age of 25.
Among his achievements in broadcasting, as reported in 2022 by the daily O País, from Maputo, is the technical organization of the report on the day of the proclamation of National Independence, 25 June 1975.
