In recognition of the National Football Team's qualification for CAN-2023, which will take place in Côte d'Ivoire at the beginning of next year, the Mozambican Football Federation (FMF) announced that each player will be rewarded with up to 250 thousand meticais.

Feizal Sidat, president of the FMF, announced that the cash prize for the National Team will be proportional to the number of games played by each member. This happens after the team has won yet another victory, adding 250 thousand meticais to the 70 thousand meticais it received for the previous victory.

The player who participated in the six games, such as Amadou and Shaquille, will receive 250 thousand monetary units, in addition to the 70 thousand received in the decisive game against Benin, which brings their total winnings to 320 thousand. Athletes who played five of the six games will receive 208,400Mt. Among this group, those who played in the last game on Saturday, at Zimpeto, will also receive another 70 thousand Mt in monetary prizes. In total, they will receive 278,400Mt for their efforts.
