President Filipe Nyusi celebrates FADM day in Tete

The President of the Republic of Mozambique, Filipe Nyusi, is scheduled to lead the central ceremony of the Day of the Armed Defense Forces of Mozambique (FADM) and the commemoration of the 59th anniversary of the beginning of the armed struggle for national liberation in the city of Tete, today, September 26th.

According to a press release to which “Notícias Online” had access, during the ceremony, the Head of State will pay tribute to the national heroes by laying a Wreath of Flowers. In addition, Nyusi will award national citizens with the Mozambique Liberation Struggle Veteran Medal in recognition of their commitment to the cause.

The statement also informs that President Nyusi will inaugurate a road in the city of Tete and the building of the National Social Security Institute in the city of Moatize. The following day, President Nyusi plans to travel to Zumbo district, where he will inaugurate the local judicial court, demonstrating the government's continued commitment to improving public infrastructure and services across the country.
